Christine, Sarah, and Catherine are Masters of Educational Technology (MET) students at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Please read below to learn more about the developers of this website.

Christine Clayton

Christine is an elementary science teacher at Carruthers Creek Public School in Ajax, Ontario, Canada. She has been teaching for the Durham District School Board (DDSB) for 9 years now. Christine is married with two beautiful children, Gwendolyn and Andrew, ages 6 and 4. In her spare time, Christine loves baking, gardening, and English horseback riding. She enjoys jumping and showing at equestrian events. Christine hopes to be finished her Masters in Educational Technology by early 2017.

Sarah Irwin-Gibson

Sarah is an Elementary school teacher by training, but currently teaching Grade 8 French Immersion Math and English Language Arts at a middle school outside Vancouver. With a passion for the outdoors, people and good food, she spends a lot of her time exploring the world! Focusing her Masters degree on Educational Technology, Sarah hopes to help her classes and school's prepare to be leaders in this digital world.

Catherine Sverko
Catherine is an Elementary school teacher in the Niagara Region of Ontario. She has taught grades five through eight and every combination in between. Catherine has been teaching in Ontario for the past 24 years. She loves spending time with her daughters when they are home from university. Catherine and her husband Ed live in Caistor Centre, Ontario wih their two labradoodles, Maggie and Finnigan. She is completing her Masters Degree in Educational Technology, to help implement technology in a meaningful way in her class and school. Catherine is one of the old timers in the course.
